Seth M. Brown, MD
Otolaryngology
Dr. Brown has advanced training in endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery and is active in the training of residents at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and medical students from both UCONN and Quinnipac. He is the Chief of Otolaryngology and site director for the Otolaryngology Residency at St. Francis Hospital. He also maintains privileges at UCONN, Hartford Hospital and CCMC.
He is active nationally in advancing minimally invasive techniques for sinus and nasal tumor surgery in both the operating room and the office. He lectures throughout North American on sinus related topics and has been the guest speaker at institutions including: The Mayo Clinic, Cornell University, Yale University and Georgetown University. He is currently on the board of the American Rhinologic Society and is Chair of the Rhinology and Paranasal Sinus Committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. His clinical interests include: minimally invasive sinus techniques, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and sinus tumors.
On a personal note he grew up in West Hartford and still lives there today with his wife and 4 daughters. When not at work you can find him coaching soccer, playing golf, or traveling with his family.
